Cobalt Chrome has been the dominant PFM in Europe for more than a decade, with 35+ million restorations worldwide due to its biocompatibility. In fact, Cobalt Chrome has been a trusted material used since the 1940s in tens of millions of PFM restorations.
With the ability to mill extremely precise parts, PRO-Craft is introducing Cobalt Chrome (Co/Cr) to our customers as an excellent replacement for semi-precious and non-precious alloys. There is no longer a reason to be subject to the rising cost of semi-precious metals and the nickel and beryllium issues of non-precious metals.
Our Cobalt Chrome is a very strong, medically pure, biocompatible alloy free of nickel and beryllium. All PFM restorations made with Co/Cr will be fabricated using technologically advanced milling, which produces extremely precise thin margins, copings free of porosity, and designs that are precisely controlled. Our frameworks are milled from a solid disk of medically pure Co/Cr, which means the days of waxing, investing, casting, divesting, and finishing are gone. With the elimination of these variables, you can expect greater accuracy and predictability with our milled PFM restorations.
In our effort to provide only the best materials available, all PRO-Craft Creation PFMs are fabricated from precision-milled PCC-Cobalt Chrome. Learn more about the benefits of PRO-Craft’s Creation PFM crowns by calling 877-484-3522 or emailing us at info@pro-craft.com.

We believe you should recommend PFM restorations over all-ceramic restorations for patients who need a more durable, cost-effective option.
Absolutely, you can request a specific alloy for your patient’s dental PFM crown. In fact, unlike Big Box labs that charge a flat rate for alloy, at PRO-Craft, you only pay for the alloy you use, saving you money so you can pass the savings on to your patients.
