Nick Ortiz

Nicholas Ortiz is the diligent, steadfast, and trustworthy Ceramics Team Leader at PRO-Craft Dental Laboratory. Nicholas started his career in the dental lab industry back in 2005, when he was just a young 19-year-old learning the hands-on tasks of a technician’s job, such as opaque and metal polishing. He soon realized that this would be a lifelong career when the artistic nature of the business appealed to him. As time went on, Nicholas grew into his role as a leader and built his communication skills to effectively serve his team members and customers. If he could go back in time and give a piece of advice to his younger self, it would be “Get more involved with customer service and get a better understanding of issues customers experience. This is the best way to improve your capabilities and provide great work.” – Nicholas Oritz

Currently, Nicholas actively evaluates and works on solving difficult to produce cases. His focus is to create each restoration with details unique to the customer and their patient's individual needs. He continues to excel at problem solving and integrating solutions using innovative and advanced technology.

When Nicholas isn’t hard at work, he enjoys being creative and playing guitar, spending time with family, and most of all spending time with his daughter and watching her grow up.
